Fully compatible with automated robotic systems, the De-Bonding system offers original manufacturers a very cost effective way to easily facilitate repair under warranty or the removal and recycling of components in end of life products. The presence of a small percentage of microspheres also assists where extrusion is employed, the process promoting effective moulding for encapsulation and reducing risk of product failure during production.

Warranty repairs

De-Bonding is strongly expected to offer huge savings where repairs under warranty, previously contracted out, become financially viable for manufacturers to undertake

without operatives requiring high skill levels. Even when repairs such as windscreen replacements are carried out by a third party, a substantial saving in time, materials and energy can be made. The process also reduces the risk of damage to bodywork and paintwork. Microspheres can be applied through a primer/cleaner or in the adhesive cartridge for use in a hand held gun when replacing new windscreens or body panels.
